Over the next few months, I will be posting about my ongoing preparations for the trip, including a gear list, itinerary, and some reflections on readings and field guides that my father and I are reading before the trip. Hopefully, we will be able to update the blog at least a few times while on the ship, but if not, those posts will be written in journals, and then recorded on the blog afterwards.
